The Long Garden

“The Long Garden” is the development of an idea that lets the user enjoy a garden’s every aspect, not just an entertaining area, from one location rather than many. This is a balanced garden with an emphasis on plants and their ability to create atmosphere and enhance a space beyond the built form through texture, light and the movement; for day or night and for any season. A planting that is modern but loosely based on the perennial borders and prairie plantings seen in gardens of the northern hemisphere together with restrained architectural elements provide function without detracting or over powering the gardens essence.
